1. Who we are
Depop Automater ("we", "us", "our") operates depopautomation.com, an AI-powered tool for automating Depop listing creation.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following information when you use Depop Automater:
- Account information: Email address and password (encrypted) when you create an account, or your Google account information if you sign in with Google.
- Photos and videos: Images and videos you upload to generate listings. These are processed to generate listing details and temporarily stored in Firebase Storage to complete the posting job. They are not used for any other purpose.
- Listing data: Titles, descriptions, prices, and other listing details generated by the AI and submitted by you.
- Depop session token: If you use automated posting, our Chrome extension reads your Depop browser session cookie and sends it securely to your account. This token is used solely to post listings on your behalf. Your Depop password is never accessed.
- Usage data: Number of listings generated, submission timestamps, and subscription status. Used to enforce plan limits and improve the service.
- Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the AI listing generation and automated posting service
- To manage your account and subscription
- To enforce free plan limits
- To send transactional emails (account creation, billing events)
- To improve the accuracy of our AI models using aggregated, anonymized listing data
4. Data retention
Uploaded photos and videos are deleted from our storage after your listing job completes (typically within 24 hours). Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, file storage, and analytics
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Google AdSense: Advertising on the free tier
- Google reCAPTCHA: Bot protection on form submissions
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their data use.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to maintain your login session (via Firebase Authentication) and to serve ads to free users (via Google AdSense). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from staying logged in.

8. Children's privacy
Depop Automater is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
