FAQ
Common questions
What is an AI Depop listing?
A Depop listing generated automatically by AI from your product photos — including the title, description, category, brand, condition, color, and suggested price. Depop Automation creates these for you and can post them straight to your Depop account.
How does the AI generate listing details?
It uses computer vision to analyze your product photos: identifying the item type, reading visible brand labels, assessing condition from image quality and wear, and suggesting a competitive price based on category and brand. Every result is editable before you post.
Is my Depop password stored anywhere?
No. The Chrome extension reads your browser's login session cookie — the same way Chrome keeps you signed in after a restart. Your Depop password is never transmitted or stored. You connect once; we refresh the session automatically when needed.
What categories does it support?
All Depop categories: Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, Outerwear, Shoes, Accessories, Bags, Activewear, Swimwear, Jewellery, Hats & Caps, and more. The AI picks the most appropriate one automatically from your photos.
Does it work on mobile?
The web app is mobile-friendly for generating listings on any browser. Automated posting requires the Chrome extension, a one-time desktop setup — once connected, listings post from our servers without your phone or desktop needing to stay open.
How many listings can I create on the free plan?
The free plan posts up to 5 listings a day to Depop or Vinted, with up to 4 photos each, 1 AI listing credit and 1 relist a day, ad-supported. Full Access ($9.99/month) removes the daily listing cap and adds unlimited relists, the bulk lister, the profit tracker, 10 AI credits a day, and up to 10 photos per listing.
Is there a free trial of Full Access?
Yes — Full Access is free for 14 days. You add a card when you start the trial, you're not charged until the 14 days are up, and you can cancel in one click from the billing page before then. The free plan needs no card at all.
Can I dropship on Depop with this tool?
Depop's policy bans traditional dropshipping (supplier-fulfilled items, stock photos). This tool doesn't get around that — it removes the manual listing work that made dropshipping tempting in the first place. Upload photos of your real inventory and the AI generates the listing for you, so you get dropshipping-level speed while staying fully compliant with Depop's rules.
